Self Portrait (not really) therapy

In the studio taking some self portraits and messing with glitter - and the aftermath as you can see. I'm telling you, it wasn't pretty.

So it was just some "beauty" shots focusing on the red lipstick/ring in the first few and then the eyeliner. It was surprisingly difficult, the auto focus kept missing me and even though the aperture was quite wide - f16 - the dof was small???

oh whatever, learned my lessons for next time, they will be much better.

I got to shoot (photos) of cats again!! This probably looks like a messy post of a lot of random cats because i got to take photos of around 10! I got totally lost running after all of them, trying to remember which i did or didn't take photos of lol. I'm so lucky, i get to rub the bellies and play with so many kittens. While i was trying to take photos, the kittens that were still in cages were poking there paws out and pulling my hair and meowing in my ear. lol it was soooooo cute though, really. And one guy, my cat soulmate, Jimmy, climbed on me while i kept taking photos.  >cat queen of multitasking<

A pocket of Nature

Presenting Anne & Zayra - two of my uni friends. We ventured(hardly) around Hoxton Park, exploring a bike track for 3 hours lol photographerz lyfe. No preconceived ideas, just playing around with the lighting and the flora. I have never been to that side of Western Sydney before though so it was so cool. Seemed quite different to where i live - much more open, more greenery and more homey. It was quiet, which was nice. 

I didn't take too many photos but i also modelled for them so when they edit their photos i'll post them here as well ^^ Hope i don't look too dorky, i had to look into the direction of the sun making my eyes water terribly and i made angry squinty faces lol major downfall of blue eyes is sensitivity. But it was lots of fun and i definitely want to go and explore the area much more!

The experience did teach me though to relax and be patient with models. I don't need to put so much pressure on myself to get the shot.

Design Meeting at St Peters

absolutely loved st. peters,  hope to do a casual photoshoot there soon. so many cute terraces, industrial with lots of alleyways and graffiti. hipsterrr lyfe
