Elizabeth

Some shots of Elizabeth at the UNSW photoclub photoshoot event. Not bad, not bad. Not exactly my kind of thing though because i like more concept and planning and preparation. Working under pressure is so not my style hahaha also i like having some time to get acquainted with the model and environment. But it was still a great experience! And i met the best people ever. Seriously love talking me some photography with like minded and enthusiastic people.

Anyway i have cooked up with i think is a great concept and i can imagine the photos in my mind right now. Can't wait to shoot them for an assignment due in 2 weeks D: just struggling to find someone. I don't want to have to take pics of myself, it's hard!

So here are some shots i kinda liked. But then again i never really like anything i do.

Road Trip > Uni Work

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful weather - sunny with a cool breeze. So around lunch time, while I was recycling catalogs that piled up in my brothers room, he said to me "I feel like driving into the city to take photos" and my reply was "hells yeah, photos over uni work all day erryday" lol so we set off out of the dingy west while blasting the Drive soundtrack hahaha. We're cool like that.

We saw another Ferrari, the newest model. My brother waved at him but that guys face was just WTF??? lol. You can kind of see it. I was a bit slow to take the picture and the fact that the car is low and the seats are low - I present to you only the top half haha. Maybe he saw my camera and he was not pleased. I hope he didn't write down my bros number plate and him and his drug dealing buddies will come track us down D:

look at that traffic
I love passing this bridge. Feels so trippy

Adam admiring the reflection. No idea where we were. Martin Place?

My brother and the Rosary beads he has had since he was little and in every car he has owned, keeping him safe.

While waiting for my brother to come around

This was a bit funny, I told Adam to go back and forth here a few times while I take photos of the back and front of the car with the Opera House in the background. I even stood in the middle of the road when he was coming back and in one of the photos when you zoom in, you can see him laughing lol. There were also cars behind him but they just smiled at me, they knew what I was doing. Only did it two times because it seemed like he was doing laps and that's not cool bro.

Being the Driver

Hahah! I love Gifs. BLUE STEEL

Driving home in the afternoon sun. Lens flare all over the place.

"Your Pursuits are all outstanding, though emotionally complex.... Real Human Being, And A Real Human..." Love that scene and the song.

Going through Ashfield on our way home
It was a nice day and I learned a little, or atleast got a better idea, on how to photograph with shy people. I spent my whole evening last night editing these photos because my bro was actually pumped with them. The last time I didn't take the best angles of his car I guess and our location wasn't great so I'm really really glad it worked out this time and he's happy with them. Maybe this means he'll take me on more trips :D I love car trips!!! It'll be days like this that I'll look back on and remember fondly when I'm older.

Other irrelevant tid-bits: I saw the cray cray old lady that's always yelling in front of the TAB and she used to have a small white dog. Small world.

Also we went to Circular Quay Macca's for lunch, there was a heap of people. An old man ordered a soft serve and the cashier said "it's going to be a few minutes wait on that" he took out his hand to take back the 30c but the guy didn't give it back and he kept shaking his head and being all mad. Then when he got it he stormed out. lols

I don't like blogger anymore. This post took 2hrs because it sucks at reordering images.
